NYSC Supports NIPR for 2026 World PR Forum Hosting

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has committed to supporting the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in hosting the 2026 World Public Relations Forum, scheduled for November. This pledge was made by NYSC Director General Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu during a meeting with NIPR Vice President Professor Emmanuel Dandaura in Abuja.
General Nafiu highlighted the significance of image-making and perception management for organizational growth and commended the NYSC Public Relations Officers for their positive projection of the Scheme. He also recognized Professor Dandaura's contributions to the establishment of the NYSC National Cultural Troupe and appreciated NIPR's support during the recent abduction of 16 Corps Members in Kogi State.
Professor Dandaura announced that the forum would attract over 2,000 delegates from 126 countries and include the unveiling of a University of Public Relations and Leadership in Nasarawa State. He requested the NYSC to provide Corps Members to assist with the event's organization and coordination.
