NIWA to Revive Oguta River Port in Imo State for Economic Growth

The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) is set to revive the Oguta River Port in Imo State in collaboration with the Orashi Special Energy Free Trade Zone. The initiative aims to attract investments, promote industrial activities, and generate employment opportunities in the South East region.

The Managing Director of NIWA, Bola Oyebamiji, disclosed the plan during a meeting with the technical team from the trade zone. The partnership is part of efforts to implement the administration's agenda and renew hope in the region.
