Nnamdi Kanu Files Motion to Supreme Court on Terrorism Trial

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, has filed a fresh motion with the Supreme Court to challenge the judgment remitting his terrorism trial back to the Federal High Court. Kanu seeks to nullify the decision, citing lack of jurisdiction and errors in the previous ruling.

The motion, filed on November 6, 2025, also requests an extension of time to review the judgment. Kanu's younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, highlights restrictions on Kanu's access to legal counsel.

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court Abuja is set to deliver a judgment on the ongoing trial.
