Mike Arnold Claims Britain Owes Biafra $6 Trillion in Reparations

Mike Arnold, a former mayor from Blanco, Texas, has made claims regarding the British government's opposition to the emergence of an independent Republic of Biafra. He asserts that Britain owes approximately $6 trillion in reparations to the Biafran people, a figure he calculates based on historical injustices and economic exploitation.

Arnold highlights the British colonial legacy, particularly the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in 1914, which he argues set the stage for ongoing conflicts. He references the Biafran War, during which he claims two million Igbo people died due to starvation exacerbated by a British-imposed blockade.

Arnold's reparations claim is based on oil revenue generated from Biafran territories, estimated at $600 billion in 1960, and includes damages for loss of life and structural damage over 112 years of colonial rule. He emphasizes that this claim represents the largest reparations demand in human history, reflecting the deep historical grievances of the Igbo people against Britain.
