MASSOB Unveils New Strategy Amid Nnamdi Kanu's Detention

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has revealed a new strategy to sustain the Biafra agitation following the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). MASSOB's leader, Uchenna Madu, disclosed the group's plan to garner international attention and support for the actualization of Biafra's leadership movement.

The strategy involves intensifying efforts to achieve self-determination and restore Biafra as a sovereign state. This decision comes after consultations with pro-Biafra leaders at home and in the diaspora, emphasizing non-violent self-determination.

MASSOB also aims to engage in political participation as part of its strategy to push for Biafra's political emancipation. The group believes that Kanu's detention will not diminish the legitimate rights and determination of the Biafran people.

MASSOB has been advocating for Kanu's release, citing his unjust and unconstitutional detention by the Nigerian state.
