NNL Sanctions Bichi First FC and Gombe United for Violations

The Nigeria Nation League (NNL) has imposed sanctions on Bichi First FC and Gombe United following recent violations. Bichi First FC forfeited three points and a three-goal margin after they refused to continue playing against Adamawa United, protesting a referee's decision.

The match was abandoned after Bichi First FC walked off the pitch, prompting the referee to wait for 17 minutes before calling off the game. Additionally, Bichi First FC has been fined N2 million.

Gombe United faced a fine of N2,390,000 for attempting to hinder the streaming of their match against Yobe Desert Stars on Matchday 11, which resulted in damage to equipment belonging to their streaming partner, Sportslight Hub. Furthermore, Savannah Scorpions have been instructed to play their next home match without fan attendance.

Both clubs have the right to appeal their sanctions.
