NNL to Honor Governors at Abuja Awards Ceremony

The Nigeria Nation League (NNL) has announced plans to honor key figures in Nigerian football development, specifically focusing on grassroots initiatives. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Abuja on March 30, 2026.

Among those being recognized are Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State; Rev. Fr.

Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Governor of Benue State; and Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lago, the Commissioner for Local Government in Kaduna State.

The NNL aims to celebrate leaders who demonstrate a strong commitment to the growth of football, particularly at the grassroots level, as well as infrastructure development and youth engagement policies. The event will also feature the presentation of monthly player awards, highlighting outstanding performances across the Nigeria Nation League.
