NNPC and FIRST E&P Launch Impact FIRST: Heritage Grant

NNPC Limited and FIRST Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Limited (FIRST E&P) have initiated the 'Impact FIRST: Heritage' program, a multi-year grant initiative aimed at providing sustained funding and partnership support to Nigerian NGOs demonstrating exceptional impact and governance. The inaugural grant presentation ceremony took place in Ikoyi, Lagos, with representatives from the Joint Venture, beneficiary organizations, and stakeholders in attendance.

This program builds on the previous Impact FIRST grant launched in 2024, which has supported 15 NGOs impacting over 20,000 beneficiaries. Unlike the annual grant, Impact FIRST: Heritage offers long-term funding to select previous beneficiaries with proven governance and measurable social impact.

Five organizations were chosen as inaugural beneficiaries: The IREDE Foundation, Asido Foundation, Cerebral Palsy Centre, Health and Development Support Programme, and Health Emergency Initiative. Emmanuel Etomi, Executive Director of Corporate Services at FIRST E&P, emphasized the program's role in scaling the impact of these organizations.
