NNPC and Shell's Vision First Aids Over 10,000 Nigerians

The Vision First initiative, a collaboration between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), has positively impacted over 10,000 Nigerians since its launch in 2022. The latest outreach is taking place this week in Badagry Local Government Area, Lagos State.

Ronald Adams, Managing Director of SNEPCo, described Vision First as a commitment to ensuring quality healthcare is accessible regardless of geography or income. The program, part of NNPC/SNEPCo's Health-in-Motion initiative, offers eye care, cardiovascular screenings, consultations for various health conditions, laboratory tests, and distribution of insecticide-treated nets.

The outreach is supported by Kolmarg Eyesight Foundation, the Lagos State Ministry of Health, and the Badagry Local Government Council. Olanarenwaju Igandan from NNPC urged community members to participate actively in health screenings, while local leaders commended the initiative for its ongoing support in health and human capital development across Nigeria.
