NNPCL Reports ₦7.2 Trillion Profit for 2025

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) announced a profit after tax of ₦7.2 trillion for the year 2025, marking an increase of over 30% compared to the previous year's profit of ₦5.76 trillion. This information was disclosed by the company's Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Bashir Bayo Ojulari, during the presentation of NNPCL’s 2025 Audited Financial Statement.

The profit was generated from a total revenue of ₦34.5 trillion, which reflects a decrease of ₦10.6 trillion from the ₦45.1 trillion recorded in 2024. Additionally, NNPCL paid ₦22.3 trillion to the Federal Government in taxes, royalties, and other remittances during the year.

The company also reported an average crude oil production of 1.77 million barrels per day and an average gas production of 7.2 billion standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) in 2025.
