NNPP Rejects Tsanyawa/Ghari Election, Describes Result as Unacceptable

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has rejected the result of the Tsanyawa/Ghari State Constituency election, deeming it unacceptable. In a statement signed by the party's chairman, Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, the NNPP alleged that the electoral process was manipulated by politicians in connivance with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The party criticized INEC for announcing the result at its headquarters in Kano instead of the collation center within the constituency, which they claim allowed for manipulation. As a result, the NNPP called for the cancellation of votes in ten polling units and vowed to resist what they described as injustice and favoritism in the election.

The party also praised security agencies for providing a peaceful environment during the exercise.
