Rivers Governor Fubara Declines Media Questions Post-Screening

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara attended a screening process conducted by the APC Committee in Abuja as part of his efforts to seek re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections. After the screening, Fubara was approached by journalists who attempted to ask questions regarding the outcome of the screening.

However, he declined to entertain any inquiries, responding briefly with "no comment." Prior to the screening, Fubara arrived at the Plateau State Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, where the screening exercise took place. The APC Committee, chaired by the national chairman of the APC, Nentaw Goshw Yilwatda, oversaw the screening process.

Fubara's participation in this screening is significant as it marks a step in his campaign for re-election in the upcoming elections.
