ADF Leadership Denies Existence of Faction, Clarifies Status

Emeritus Professor T. Uzodinma Nwala, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), has publicly refuted claims of a faction within the organization.

In a statement released on February 18, he emphasized that the current leadership, headed by Nze Emeka Coleman Chukwudelunzu, is legitimate and recognized globally. Nwala's clarification followed social media insinuations suggesting the existence of a faction led by Prof.

Awuzi, which he described as unfounded and damaging. He highlighted that the ADF's office is located at 38B Umuezebi Street, Upper Chime, New Haven, Enugu, and reaffirmed the organization's commitment to advancing Igbo culture.

Nwala urged dissidents to cease their actions that could destabilize the ADF and warned that continued disruptions would lead to administrative action. He also referenced the ADF's registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and its established governance structure, which includes the removal of former board members in accordance with the constitution.
