APC Criticizes Makinde Over High Chiefs' Coronation Absence

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned Governor Makinde over his actions related to the coronation of three high chiefs in Ibadanland. The event, which took place on a Friday, saw the coronation of High Chief Akeem Adewoyeh, Chief Kola Babalola, and High Chief Sharafadeen Alli, who represent the Oyo South Senatorial District on the gubernatorial aspirant platform of the APC.

The APC's criticism highlighted the absence of notable indigenes of Ibadanland, including Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, during the coronation ceremony. Wasiu Sadiq, the APC's Public Secretary, described the governor's actions as a "bad page in the history of the state," insisting that there is no justification for such behavior from a public servant.
