Peter Obi Assures No Victimization Under His Leadership

Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate, addressed concerns raised by Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike regarding possible consequences for him if the opposition wins the 2027 presidential election. Speaking in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Obi dismissed Wike's assertion that he could face arrest, stating that no Nigerian would be victimized under an administration led by the opposition.

He emphasized his commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians, particularly the youth facing unemployment and rising living costs. Obi assured that his administration would treat all citizens equally, regardless of political affiliation, and focused on providing job opportunities and basic necessities for young Nigerians.

He stated, “If you say, ‘Oh, if Peter Obi comes to government, they’ll be victims,’ let me assure you, no Nigerian will be victim when we come. Every Nigerian will be Nigerian.”.
