NDC Dismisses Unauthorized Claims on Enugu Primary Results

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially dismissed claims circulating on social media regarding the results of the Enugu State primary elections held on May 29, 2026. Ikenna Morgan, the NDC state secretary, stated that the party conducted the elections in compliance with the Electoral Act and its constitution, allowing eligible party members to vote for their preferred candidates.

The process was monitored by the NDC's national electoral committee and representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ensuring an orderly and transparent conduct of the elections. Morgan emphasized that the official results remain with the appropriate party authorities and will be made public through recognized constitutional channels.

He cautioned party aspirants and the general public against relying on unofficial information that has been circulating online, which he described as unauthorized rumors. The NDC aims to maintain transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
