ADC Condemns Attack on Members in Kaduna State

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) condemned an attack on its members in Kaduna State, warning that no political party or group has a monopoly on violence. In a statement signed by the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party described the attack as an unacceptable escalation, emphasizing that those introducing thuggery into the 2027 election process are creating a dangerous environment.

The ADC stated that violence should not be an accepted instrument of political competition and urged security agencies to identify, arrest, and prosecute those responsible for the attack. The party expressed support for its Kaduna governorship candidate, Hon. Isa Ashiru, and other affected members, urging the Kaduna State Government to ensure that all opposition parties are protected and allowed to participate freely in political activities.

The ADC asserted its commitment to peaceful democratic participation and vowed not to be intimidated in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.
