APGA Mandates Video Documentation for Anambra Primaries

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced new regulations for its primary elections in Anambra, stating that video documentation of the electoral process is mandatory. Ejimofor Opara, a representative from APGA, emphasized that this measure is intended to ensure transparency and credibility in the electoral process.

The video recordings must clearly capture the accreditation of eligible party members, the voting process, and the announcement of results by electoral officials. Any election result not accompanied by the required video documentation will not be accepted as valid.

APGA has encouraged electoral officials and aspirants to independently record the electoral process to maintain transparency. The primary elections are set to take place across various wards in Anambra, with accreditation beginning at 10 AM.

Reports indicate that some prominent aspirants have withdrawn from the primaries for various reasons, although the party has not released an official statement regarding these developments.
