Non-Indigenes in Osun Support Adeleke's Re-Election Bid

Non-indigenous residents from Southern states, including Benue and Plateau, residing in Osun State, reaffirmed their support for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke at a town hall meeting held in Ede. The meeting, convened by Honourable Nworie Monday Michael, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on non-indigenes, featured a road show leading to the venue where various community leaders gathered.

Nworie urged attendees to promote peace and progress, emphasizing the importance of protecting the electoral process and encouraging active participation in the upcoming election on August 15. He highlighted that merely casting a vote is insufficient without safeguarding it from potential manipulation.

Additionally, Hon. Mustapha Adisa Akintegbe, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Intergovernmental Affairs, provided voter education, urging eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and explaining the voting process to ensure valid votes and proper ballot counting.
