Buni Advocates for Tinubu's Second Term in Kaduna Forum

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni stated that the gentleman agreement regarding rotational presidency between the North and South should be honored to allow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to complete a second term. This statement was made during a forum organized by Islamic Women Intellectuals in collaboration with the office of the Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, Alh.

Kabiru Masari, in Kaduna. Buni argued that since the North had enjoyed eight years of two-term tenure, it is only fair to grant President Tinubu a second term.

He called on stakeholders to ensure justice and fairness prevail, allowing Tinubu to consolidate his policies and programs for the benefit of the people. Buni also urged Islamic scholars to promote fairness and peaceful coexistence at all societal levels.

Alh. Kabiru Masari praised the intellectuals for their engagement in political development and encouraged them to support Tinubu's administration.

Alh. Inuwa Yahaya, the Gombe State Governor, welcomed the involvement of Islamic women scholars in politics.
