North West PDP Support Groups Back Suspension of Ambassador Umar Damagun by Federal High Court

The North West State People Democratic Party (PDP) Support Group, led by Dr. Haruna Muhammad Ismail Gumel, expressed support for the recent suspension of Ambassador Umar Damagun and five other PDP leaders by the Federal High Court.

The court ruling highlighted the deep-seated leadership crisis within the PDP, calling for genuine reconciliation and restructuring. The coalition commended the National Working Committee (NWC) for taking decisive action to suspend Damagun and others due to alleged misconduct.

They pledged loyalty to the newly appointed Acting National Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Abdulkadir, emphasizing the need for justice and fair reconciliation among aggrieved members.
