Northern Students Back Defence Minister Musa's Leadership

The Association of Northern Nigeria Students (ANNS) has expressed a vote of confidence in the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd.), commending his leadership in tackling Nigeria’s security challenges. In a statement signed by President Comrade Baba Mahadi, the ANNS highlighted Musa's dedication to the peace, unity, and security of Nigeria, citing his record of service as a testament to his patriotism.

The association emphasized the need for collective responsibility among citizens to address security issues and urged Nigerians to support lawful efforts to enhance national security. They also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Musa, noting his experience and commitment are crucial as Nigeria faces complex security threats.

ANNS called for a peaceful approach to resolving security issues and encouraged citizens to contribute constructively to the fight against insecurity, reinforcing the idea that Nigeria belongs to all its citizens.
