Accord Party Denies Endorsing Tinubu for 2027 Election

The Accord Party has officially denied reports of endorsing Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election. During a press conference in Abuja, the party's chairman clarified that credible candidates will emerge from their primaries, which will conclude at a later date.

This clarification comes in response to controversy surrounding a billboard in Iwo, Osun State, which featured images of Tinubu and was allegedly exploited by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to misrepresent the party's stance. Accord Party's chairman, Mgbudem, expressed confidence in the party's candidate, Adelek, winning the upcoming governorship election in Osun State.

He dismissed concerns regarding any leadership crisis within the party, asserting that there are no factions and that the party is not worried about opposition.
