NOUN Appoints Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma as New VC

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has appointed Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma as its new Vice Chancellor, succeeding Prof.

Olufemi Peter, who has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE). This announcement was made by ACDE President Prof.

Solomon Shibairo in a letter congratulating Uduma on his new role. As the 1st Vice President of the ACDE Executive Board, Uduma will support the President and contribute to strategic decisions aimed at enhancing open and distance learning across Africa.

The ACDE recognized Peter's significant contributions to the university and the broader open distance education community in Africa, leading to his appointment as goodwill ambassador. The ACDE aims to promote quality education and training through open and distance learning, with a focus on expanding access across the continent.
