NPF Trains Female Officers on Leadership and Inclusion

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) organized a training program in Abuja aimed at enhancing leadership and gender inclusion among female officers. The ceremony was opened by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Disu, who emphasized the commitment to continuous capacity building as a cornerstone of ongoing reforms within the NPF.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Henri Uch was charged with developing the training program. The initiative, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the CLEEN Foundation, brought together female officers from various commands across Nigeria to improve their leadership competencies and strategic management skills.

The Director General of the National Institute of Police Studies, Prof. Olu Ogunsakin, delivered a keynote address underscoring the importance of sustained leadership development for female officers, describing it as essential for enhancing professionalism and operational effectiveness within the Nigeria Police Force.
