Kano Pillars has appointed Daniel Ogunmoded as their new technical adviser ahead of the 2026-2027 football season. Ismaeel Abba Tangalashi, the club's media director, confirmed that Ogunmoded will lead the technical crew for the upcoming campaign. Ogunmoded, known for his impressive coaching resume, previously transformed Remo Stars into a competitive team and is expected to restore Kano Pillars' status as a dominant force in Nigerian football.

The club, which has a large fan base and a history of multiple league titles, has struggled in recent seasons. Ogunmoded's appointment comes shortly after the Kano State government approved a reconstitution of the club's management board, aiming to enhance sports development in the state.
