NSCDC Arrests 10 Suspected Vandals and Robbers in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) successfully arrested 10 suspects involved in various criminal activities in Kano State. The arrests took place in different locations, including Gwarmai Ghari Local Government Area, Challawa Industrial Area, Unguwar Rimi, Waratallawa, and Kumbotso.

According to a statement from the NSCDC's Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, the suspects were apprehended for crimes ranging from vandalism and theft to conspiracy, trespass, and receiving stolen property. The operation was led by the command's head, Moham Hassan Agalama.

During the arrests, the NSCDC recovered several exhibits, including 200 meters of aluminum conductor cable, handsets, copper wire, a power bank, and dangerous weapons such as knives, cutlasses, swords, and scissors. The suspects are expected to be charged in court for proper prosecution.

The NSCDC reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure, urging the public to support security agencies in tackling security challenges in the state.
