NSCDC Arrests 10 Suspected Vandals and Thieves in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) successfully apprehended 10 suspects involved in criminal activities in Kano State. The arrests were made in different locations, including Gwarmai Ghari Local Government Area, Challawa Industrial Area, Unguwar Rimi, Waratallawa, and Kumbotso.

The suspects were allegedly part of a criminal gang engaged in vandalism, theft, conspiracy, trespassing, and receiving stolen property. The operation was led by the command's public relations officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, and took place on Tuesday at the command's headquarters.

Recovered exhibits included 200 meters of aluminum conductor cable, handsets, copper wire, a power bank, and dangerous weapons such as knives, cutlasses, swords, and scissors. The command, led by Moham Hassan Agalama, reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding national assets and infrastructure, urging the public to support security agencies in tackling security challenges.

Earlier, the NSCDC's Kwara State command arrested three men for illegal mining activities.
