NSCDC Arrests 10 Suspected Kidnappers and Vandals in Abuja

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehended 10 suspects connected to kidnapping and vandalism activities in Abuja. Among those arrested were Musa Julia, who was involved in kidnapping activities in Tudun Wada, Karu, Nasarawa State, and Ali Musa Garko, linked to cattle rustling.

The operation, coordinated by Afolabi Babawal, involved the NSCDC's Special Intelligence Squad and a gun duel with suspects. Six additional suspects were arrested for their involvement in the vandalism of electrical infrastructure, including Suleiman Ibrahim, who was found with a large quantity of vandalized armored cable at Jabi Park.

Other suspects included Umar Rabiu, Muktar Yusuf, Ibrahim Haruna, and Sundai Ezekiel, all of whom confessed to varying degrees of involvement in the crimes. The suspects are expected to face charges in court as a deterrent to similar offenses in the region.
