NSCDC Arrests 10 Suspects for Vandalism and Kidnapping

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehended 10 suspects for their involvement in vandalism and kidnapping activities in Abuja and neighboring states. The arrests were executed by the NSCDC's Special Intelligence Squad and Crack Squad, which coordinated operations aimed at targeting criminal elements involved in vandalizing government infrastructure and national assets.

According to a press statement signed by Afolabi Babawal, the suspects include Suleiman Ibrahim, Libra Umar, Umar Rabiu, Muktar Yusuf, Ibrahim Haruna, Sundai Ezekiel, Ali Musa, Musa Juli, Umar Abdullahi, and Murtala Ibrahim. The suspects were implicated in offenses related to the theft of electrical power community installations and cattle rustling.

NSCDC's Commandant General, Prof. Ahm Abubakar Audi, reiterated the corps' zero-tolerance stance against vandalism and sabotage, emphasizing that the suspects would be charged in a competent court of law to deter similar acts.

The NSCDC expressed appreciation for public cooperation and assured citizens of its commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
