NSCDC Officer Dies During Palliative Distribution in Kano

On Friday, during the distribution of Ramadan Sallah palliatives in the Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State, an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) died. The incident was confirmed on Saturday by Alhassan Ado Doguwa, a member of the House of Representatives for the Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, the public relations officer for the NSCDC in Kano, stated that the command has commenced a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the officer's death. Doguwa alleged that hoodlums attempted to disrupt the distribution exercise, which led to the officer's death.

He expressed shock over the incident and extended condolences to the NSCDC and the family of the deceased. Doguwa urged security agencies to investigate the matter and bring those responsible to justice, while also calling on the public to refrain from spreading false claims related to the attack.
