NSCDC Dismisses 38 Senior Officers for Misconduct

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has sacked 38 senior officers, including an Assistant Commandant General, for gross misconduct, insubordination, and unbecoming conduct towards their superiors. The dismissals were in line with public service rules, with two senior officers demoted in rank and five others issued warning letters.

The NSCDC also disclosed disciplinary actions against junior staff for various offenses, including job racketeering, extortion, aiding illegal deals, and absenteeism. The agency emphasized its commitment to upholding discipline and ethical standards while rewarding exceptional and loyal officers.
