NSHA to Honor 60 Unsung Heroes on June 27 in Abuja

The Nigerian Silent Hero Award (NSHA) will celebrate its eighth edition on June 27, 2026, at the Carlton Hotel in Asokoro, Abuja. This event aims to honor 60 distinguished Nigerians whose contributions to governance, security, business, philanthropy, and community development have significantly shaped the nation, often without public acclaim.

The award recognizes individuals whose selfless service and commitment to the common good have gone unnoticed despite their impactful work. The initiative, which began in 2018, focuses on individuals whose achievements amplify public discourse rather than those who seek visibility.

This year, 46 principal honorees will be recognized alongside 14 distinguished Nigerians, including figures from various sectors such as public service, business, and media. Notable recipients include Oluwaseun Faley, Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, and Dr.

Aisha Achimugu. The event serves as a reminder of the essential contributions of quiet patriots to national development.
