Daily Times Nigeria Honors Development Heroes at DTN@100
The Daily Times Nigeria Centenary (DTN@100) Heroes Awards announced recipients of four special honours aimed at recognizing significant contributions to Nigeria's development. The awards were revealed during the DTN@100 Conference, which also included a Grand Book Unveiling.
Bolaji Okusaga, Chairman of the DTN@100 Organising Council, stated that the awards celebrate leadership, innovation, and service that have positively impacted communities and the nation. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadu, OON, President of the Nigeria Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce, received the National Global Champion Award for enhancing Nigeria's global economic engagement.
Dr. Olasupo Olusi, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank of Industry, was awarded the National Development Award for promoting industrialisation and job creation. Mr. Abdulhamid Umar, National Project Coordinator of the ACReSAL Programme, received the Sustainability Award for his work on climate resilience.
The Social Impact Award was conferred on Professor Oyelaran Oyeyinka.
