Yusuf Buba Yakub Dedicates 58th Birthday to Helping Others

Yusuf Buba Yakub, the Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), celebrated his 58th birthday on August 13, 2026, by dedicating the occasion to Nigerians in need. He called on friends, associates, and well-wishers to mark his birthday by extending kindness to the less privileged rather than giving him gifts.

Buba Yakub expressed gratitude for life’s blessings and reaffirmed his commitment to societal contributions, particularly for those lacking basic needs. He encouraged acts of compassion, stating that even small gestures could restore hope and dignity to those facing difficulties.

Born in Kaduna to a royal family, he has held various political positions, including serving as the National Chairman of the Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD) and as a member of the House of Representatives. On August 22, 2023, he was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Director-General/CEO of NTAC, where he has made significant contributions over nearly three years.
