NTAC Prepares Volunteers for Uganda Deployment

Dr. Yusuf Buba Yakub, the Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), urged 28 selected volunteers bound for Uganda to serve as worthy ambassadors of Nigeria.

Speaking during an orientation program at the NTAC complex in Abuja, he emphasized that their conduct would reflect Nigeria's image, whether positive or negative. Dr.

Buba congratulated the volunteers, describing them as highly qualified professionals chosen to represent the NTAC scheme, which was established in 1987 as a key tool of Nigeria's foreign policy. He expressed appreciation for the support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu and Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiy.

The volunteers, drawn from various disciplines including engineering, medicine, education, and public administration, will serve at different institutions across Uganda for two years. Dr.

Buba assured them of NTAC's continued support throughout their deployment.
