DSS Chief Ajayi Receives NUJ Man of the Year Award

Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), received the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Man of the Year 2026 award, which he described as a validation of the collaboration between security agencies and the media.

Ajayi expressed his gratitude to the NUJ after receiving the award on Monday, highlighting the synergy established between the DSS and the media since he took office. Alhassan Abdullahi, the NUJ National President, stated that the union's National Executive Council unanimously selected Ajayi for this honor, citing his leadership in enhancing media engagement.
