Governors Makinde and Nwifuru Reshuffle Cabinets

On Tuesday, July 1, 2023, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde announced a cabinet reshuffle, appointing Ifeoluwa Akand as chairman of the Samuel Ladok Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee and Isola Adekunle as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs. Other appointments included Oladejo Oladokun as part-time member of the Local Government Service Commission.

Makinde also reappointed Adeseun Ogundoyin to the governing council of the Polytechnic Eruwa, with Prof. Kazeem Adebiyi as chairman for a term ending March 24, 2025.

In Ebonyi State, Governor Franci Nwifuru swore in two new commissioners and reshuffled the executive council, assigning Omari Omaka to the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Sylvest Nwenu to the Ministry of Environment. Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya submitted a list of 23 nominees to the state house assembly for screening as part of efforts to reconstitute the state executive council.
