Kwara's Physically Challenged Student Wins Gold at National Youth Games

Adebayo Ridwan, a physically challenged student from Kwara State, won a gold medal by lifting 71kg at the ongoing 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State. Ridwan, a JSS 2 student at Government Day Secondary School, Ojagboro, Ilorin, competed as part of Team Kwara and outclassed other contestants to secure the top prize.

He expressed gratitude to his coach, Oladipo Omole, for the support and training that led to his victory. Ridwan, who lost his parents, aims to represent Nigeria in international events in the future.

His achievement highlights the talent and determination of young athletes, especially those overcoming physical challenges.
