Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State, stated that Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027 is his primary political project. Oborevwori urged the populace to support Tinubu, asserting that the ongoing projects in the state demonstrate effective governance. He dismissed concerns regarding the resignation of former Deputy Senate President Ovi Omo-Agege from the All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that the party remains robust and united.

Oborevwori noted that the APC's primary elections should be transparent and fair, encouraging all candidates to accept the outcomes.
