Dr. Tajudeen Kasali Inaugurated as Odu’a Investment Chairman

Odu’a Investment Company Limited inaugurated Dr. Tajudeen Kasali as its new Group Chairman on Thursday, 30 July 2026, during a Board of Directors meeting.

His appointment was announced at the company’s 44th Annual General Meeting on 26 June 2026. Kasali succeeds Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, whose four-year term ended in accordance with the company's rotational chairmanship policy among the six South-West states.

Ashiru will remain on the Board until 2028, ensuring continuity. Kasali has been a director since 2020 and has a background in medicine and public administration, having served as Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lagos State Commissioner for various departments.

Under Ashiru, the company transformed significantly, achieving a Profit Before Tax of N23.58bn for the 2025 financial year. Kasali aims to implement the SRC 2.0 Strategic Framework (2026–2030), which focuses on “Sweat, Repurpose and Consolidate,” targeting N30bn.
