DLA Appoints Dr. Tosin Odeyemi as Acting Osun Chair

Dr. Tosin Odeyemi has been appointed as the acting chairman of the Osun State chapter of the Democrat Leadership Alliance (DLA), with the appointment taking immediate effect as of July 17, 2026.

The appointment was signed by Barrister Samuel M. Memeh, the national chairman of the DLA, and follows the approval of the party's National Executive Committee (NEC).

Odeyemi is expected to provide leadership to the party in Osun State, establish and strengthen its structure, and uphold the party's constitutional ideology. He expressed gratitude to the national leadership for their confidence in him and described his appointment as a call to service.

Odeyemi pledged to rebuild and expand the party's structure across the 30 local government areas in Osun State, promote unity and discipline among members, and ensure transparency and integrity in operations. His appointment is part of the DLA's efforts to enhance its grassroots presence in Osun State ahead of future political engagements.
