APC Defends Saraki's Legal Accountability in Offa Case

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) regarding the Offa robbery case, asserting that former Senate President Bukola Saraki is not above the law. The APC's response follows PDP's allegations that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is attempting to reopen a concluded case for political reasons.

Abdulwahe Babatund, the APC's Public Secretary, dismissed PDP's claims as melodramatic and an attempt to evade accountability. He emphasized that neither Saraki nor the PDP should be concerned as the matter is a legal issue that will be resolved in court.

Babatund maintained that no individual is above the law and that Saraki should submit to the judicial process instead of engaging in media exchanges. He described Saraki's denial as laughable, noting that evidence contradicts his claims.

The APC reiterated its commitment to justice for the victims of the Offa robbery and criticized the PDP for politicizing the issue while focusing on governance and development.
