Yusuf Lawal Denies Birth Rumors Amid Mourning Period

Yusuf Lawal, a Nigerian professional footballer and the son-in-law of the late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has publicly denied reports circulating on social media that his wife, Kira Taiwo, recently gave birth. These claims emerged shortly after the death of her father, Ogogo, who passed away after battling an undisclosed illness.

Lawal shared a disclaimer on his Instagram Story on Wednesday night, stating, “This is not true,” and emphasized that the false reports had led to numerous calls and messages from concerned relatives and friends seeking clarification. He appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information about his family, especially during this time of mourning.

Lawal expressed that they have been receiving inquiries about the rumor and felt it necessary to clarify the situation publicly, urging everyone to respect their family's privacy as they grieve the loss of Ogogo.
