Ijebu Traditional Council Endorses Adeola for Governor 2027

The Ijebu Traditional Council has officially endorsed Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ogun State governorship election scheduled for 2027. This endorsement occurred during a consultation visit held at the Awujal Palace in Ijebu Ode, where Adeola was accompanied by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The council, represented by Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba, who serves as the chairman, praised Abiodun for making the right choice in supporting Adeola. The council outlined two key reasons for their endorsement, emphasizing Adeola's integrity, capacity, and experience.

Additionally, Oba Jaiyeoba referenced the public endorsement of Adeola by Oba Sikiru Kayod Adetona during the 2024 Ojud festival, urging the council to support Adeola when the time comes. The council expressed confidence in Adeola's proven track record and his impact on local government development projects in Ogun West.
