Adebutu Urges Ijebu Residents to Vote Out APC in 2027
Dr. Oladipupo Adebutu, the Ogun State governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), called on the people of Ijebuland to vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections. This appeal was made during the PDP campaign flag-off in Ijebu-Ode, where he rallied support for the party's candidates, including Abdul-Hamid Femi Omotayo, the PDP's Ogun East senatorial candidate.
Adebutu criticized the state of infrastructure in Ogun, particularly roads and healthcare, questioning the continued support for the APC amidst deteriorating public services. He also addressed the delay in selecting a new Awujale of Ijebuland and emphasized the need for the government to respect traditional processes.
Adebutu stated that the PDP aims to restore liberty, freedom, and good governance in Ogun. He urged voters to protect their ballots and resist inducements from rival parties.
Additionally, he introduced Wale Ogunbanjo as the PDP candidate for the Ijebu North East/Odogbolu/Ijebu-Ode federal constituency.
