Abiodun Praises Ethnic Harmony in Ogun State Visit

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun commended the peaceful coexistence among various ethnic groups in the state during a visit from members of the South West Arewa Community, led by its Director General, Alhaji Shehu Usman Dure. The visit took place at the governor's office in Ok Mosan, Abeokuta.

Governor Abiodun assured the Arewa community of his administration's commitment to empowering residents through targeted capacity-building programs aimed at enhancing productivity and societal contributions. He emphasized the need to prevent exploitation and destabilizing activities by providing relevant skills and human capital development.

Abiodun expressed his willingness to collaborate with the Arewa group to design empowerment initiatives tailored to the community's needs. He acknowledged the group's leadership role within the Arewa community in the South West and noted their efforts to curb misinformation and foster better understanding among diverse groups.
