Ogun ADC Chairman Femi Soluade Reaffirms Party Unity

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, under the leadership of Chairman Femi Soluade, has reaffirmed its unity and structured commitment to democratic principles. This declaration follows a state congress held on a Saturday, where a faction led by David Mark elected Emmanuel Famojuro as the new chairman.

Soluade criticized this election, describing it as a "kangaroo election" that did not adhere to the party's constitutional procedures or established guidelines, rendering the outcome null and void. He emphasized that the party will continue to grow stronger across all levels in the state.

The congress was attended by notable figures, including Moshood Salvador and Olatunji Soyinka, who presented a harmonized list of new executives reflecting an agreement among party leaders. Soluade urged aggrieved members and stakeholders to set aside differences and work together for the benefit of the party.
