Ogun APC Primaries: Funmi Afuwap Wins Remo Ticket

The Ogun State APC House of Representatives primaries took place across 20 local government areas on a Saturday, marked by a peaceful and transparent organization that drew commendations from party leaders and stakeholders. Funmi Afuwap won the ticket for the Remo Federal Constituency, with Taofeek Sokoya expressing confidence in her leadership abilities. The primaries were reported to be hitch-free, with significant participation from party members, particularly in Abeokuta North and other local government areas.

Gboyega Nasir Isiaka endorsed a consensus candidate for the Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency. Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun praised the loyalty and discipline of APC members throughout the exercise, emphasizing the importance of internal democracy and the commitment to good governance.
