Brick Moulder Killed Over N200 Dispute in Ogun State

On April 1, 2023, Isreal Ayomid, a brick moulder, was fatally stabbed during a dispute over N200 in the Ota area of Ogun State. The incident occurred around 8 AM at the Alaka Road block industry, where Ayomid was working.

A confrontation arose when Aboi, the suspect, demanded the money, leading to an argument that escalated into a physical fight. Ayomid was pinned down and stabbed with a bottle.

Despite being rushed to a nearby health center, he was pronounced dead. Following the incident, the Onipanu Police Division detained six community members but did not pursue Aboi, who fled the scene.

Ayomid's father, Mr. Israel, revealed that there were plans to ban Aboi from the block industry due to previous violent behavior.

The police have faced criticism for their handling of the case, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect.
